We made it home safe and sound! We had such a wonderful time visiting Erin. It is always so hard to leave her but we knew that day would come.
We did some many fun things. Everything from the Atlanta Zoo, Tennessee Aquarium, and Rome baseball game to making air popped popcorn was so fun and I will remember how much fun Jase had too. He probably won't remember the trip but we have every detail caught on camera!
We just wanted to say "thanks" sis for having us come! We made some great memories and we will see you in December. We love you very much :)
Home sweet home
It is nice to get back home but we had quite the adjustment today. Not just the time adjustment but just getting back into the swing of things was hard for us, but we will get there. 10 days is a long time to be gone. When we arrived in town Monday night we went and saw Jeff at work right away. Jase couldn't stop giggling. I wish I had my video camera because it was hysterical. He was so excited to see him and Jeff was just as excited. It is so great when the two of them see each other even when Jeff gets home from work. It never gets old. We then went home and the girl was waiting for us. When she saw Jase she jumped on him and gave him so many kisses. She looked much thinner since we were gone. Jase wasn't there to give her all of his food!
Back to how things were :) BFF's
We have a busy week ahead. Tomorrow we will be getting our new upstairs furniture. Thursday Jase will have a well checkup at the Dr in Des Moines. It is also Rachel's birthday so we will be meeting her for lunch. On Friday we find out if Jase is going to have little brother or sister! How exciting! Jeff of course still sticks to his gut and says it is a girl so we will see and let you all know! This appointment always makes me nervous. Since it is the first ultrasound you can only hope for the best news, so that is what we are praying for.
Thanks for checking in!
