Rachel Came to visit!

What a fun/busy/tiring/kind of expensive day we had yesterday! We spent the day in Des Moines with the family. Jeff had the day off so we decided to take advantage and do some shopping for furniture. Poor buddy can't have that whole area to himself forever! Although, he will still get most of it.
The best part of the day was that we picked up "Aunt" Rachel and she was able to spend the day with us. We didn't take long to find what we wanted for furniture so then we headed out to lunch and to the mall. Jase had fun too. He had a lot of input in our purchases!

We got home at a good time so Jeff could do some yard work and golf. Rachel, Jase and I just hung out and had a good time together. We miss her and Jase must looove older women because he couldn't keep his hands off of her!





This weekend we will be going to the parade on Saturday. It got rescheduled twice now so we aren't going to miss it. Jeff works on Saturday then he is headed to the races at Newton Speedway for the weekend. He is very excited and he deserves a fun weekend with his friend Tyler! I wish I could go, but being 4 months pregnant in the hot weather might just do me in for a while! Jase, the girl and I might head to see my parents after the parade. Ady gets to get all pampered on Sunday at Petco so she would be so upset if we missed her appointment!

Also, Jase and I have a big trip coming up. We are going to see Aunt Erin for 10 DAYS! We leave a week from today and are so excited! We will be getting ready for that within the next few days! Hopefully the plane ride goes okay...for both of us ;).
