We were able to go to one UNI game this year with the ENTIRE FAM! I can say it was an absolute BLAST! From the minute we woke up we were getting the kiddos in Panther mode. The game was the 31st which was the day after beggars night (a.k.a trick-or-treat night) in Indianola so they were on a sugar high anyway. We left pretty early in the morning to get some good tailgating in. My parents were able to borrow a nice tent from their neighbors so we were lucky to have that to keep us out of the rain...at least we thought. We get up there to put the tent together and their neighbor forgot to put actual canopy part of the tent with the rest of it. NICE. We had to do our best with some red neck tailgating. We managed to put blankets in between the trunks of two cars. It was pretty classy!! It worked though. Honestly after the shots of moonshine Mema Bates had us take, no one really cared!! The day was fun and the kiddos did awesome! The boys actually got in to the game and enjoyed watching it this year. In previous years they were more interested in the food so this year was an improvement!
