We had a busy weekend in the Bates family! We decided to take Jase to the I-cubs game on Saturday night. He was a big fan! Jase even got to try all the good ballgame foods :) We even made it to the last inning, but then called it a night around 8:30. We had a lot of fun. We also went to the Farmer's market on Saturday. Jase got to try some mini doughnuts...and we found out he REALLY likes doughnuts. Dad went golfing on Sunday with some friends so Mom, Jase and Ady decided to go the Indianola to see Grandma and Grandpa. We were also able to see Uncle Andy and Aunt Marilyn. We haven't seen them in a long time. It is always good to see them.
Jeff officially has 3 days left of school...FOREVER! He is very excited. WE are very excited. The end is very near. I put in my notice at work finally, after a putting it off for a while!
We are going to be packing, packing and more packing for the next few weeks. We move June 5th which is quickly approaching us! We are enjoying our final days here with our family and friends. This weekend we will be with our good friends Rachel and Darin and Jase will be able to attend his first wedding! Mother's day is a big day for us in the Bates and Johnston family so will all be together on Sunday for that! Also, it is Ady's birthday this week. Happy Birthday to "the girl"
