5) I celebrated two of my very good friends getting married by planning a shower and bachelorette party for them. It was an amazing weekend and we couldn't be happier for them! We are headed to Mexico in two weeks to seal the deal when they will be officially wife and wife!!!
4) Jase lost his first TWO teeth. And yes by accident. The boys we're able to spnd some time with the Bates family over the 4th. It was great for them. They were in a parade for the fourth and of course were able to boat, tube and enjoy the best place ever with their Mema and papa, great-grandma O. and Aunt Jess. Jeff, myself and miss Hayden stayed back because Jeff had to work.
The last day of the trip they decided to head over to the water park in Okoboji and they had a blast of course. Jase took a step up to get to the slide and slipped!!! He fractured his first two top teeth and ends up getting them pulled. Poor guy of course was upset when it happened but when he went to the dentist to have them pulled, he was a trooper. Mema and papa said he didn't even cry. What a tough. Nugget we have. The tooth fairy of course spoiled him and set the bar pretty high but it was a pretty traumatic experience for the little man!!
3) We headed to the lake after the 4th for a nice relaxing week with our kiddos. They love the Barefoot Bar with an amazing playground and of course fun activities and things for adults as well. Jase was able to tube on his own which was huge because let's be honest, this mama can't tube as well as she used to!! A couple of the days it was a bit chilly so we went to the mini golf course and it was amazing. The boys were loving the challenges of getting the ball in the hole. Hayden was such a big helper too by picking up the balls and placing them in the holes for us! We were also able to go bowling one day. They loved that as well. Jeff of course own but the competition between him and myself is pretty bad. I HATE it when he beats me at bowling!!
2) Birthday parties with our best friends. We celebrated Miss Reese's birthday and her sister Karsyn's birthday. The kids absolutely love them and we confided them family! They are amazing people and we can't wait for the kiddos to have each other forever.
1) Most of this month has been consumed with my mom's back surgery. It has been a loooong road and we are still trying to get her through it.
Well there you have it. Our month of July! for some reason my pictures are not cooperating with me. I have some pretty gruesome ones of Jase's front teeth and from the birthday parties and bachelorette fun but technology doesn't always cooperate.
Here is a few from the Cabin at the lake! As soon as I can figure my pictures out I will post a ton more!!
