Weekend with the Grandparents!

This past Saturday we headed back to Des Moines/Indianola for our class reunion. It was not the best reunion I would say but we definitely got so see some of our friends. The boys came for a little bit, since it was at a park, but it got very hot so we took them to Grandma and Grandpa Bates' for the remainder of the night. Jeff and I were able to go out and have some great times with so me old high school friends.

On Sunday we went to the I-Cubs game with my parents. I love baseball games and my dad has been trying to find a good time to go. It seems like the weekends this summer have been so busy and are just flying by. He has exchanged the tickets three times since we have had things going on every other weekend. We finally got to go and the boys had fun. Jase actually did pretty good and sat/stood in his seating area for most of the game. We had good seats so he could see everything. Tyce had fun too. He was able to sit on Grandma's lap and bounce up and down for most of it. It was a great weekend to see our families again. I love to see the bond the boys have with all of his grandparents. You can just see the love they all have for the boys. It just melts my heart!

On Friday we are heading back for the Iowa State Fair. We are going to a concert and of course going to enjoy some fair food! Saturday we are planning on taking the boys back to Lake Okoboji for a mini vacation. Jeff has some time he has to take off so what a perfect weekend to take them back to the lake!
