Happy 1 Month Birthday Tyce!

We have officially made it one month with the new addition to our family. Tyce is doing great. Him and I both are still trying to figure out his feeding schedule but we will get there eventually! He has become way more alert and continues to amaze us everyday. We even get a smile out of him on occasion too. Jase is adjusting well to his little bro. He helps us out by getting him pacifiers and covering him up with blankets.

Tyce is still on a cluster feeding schedule about every other day. One day he likes to eat about every 1-2 hours during the morning and then towards the afternoon he gets on a better eating schedule about every 3-4 hours. It is so different then when Jase was a baby. Jase would eat for about 1/2 hour and be good to go for 3 hours. The next day he will eat about every 3 hours. At night we give him a bottle between 10-11 and he wakes up to eat again between 2:30-3:00. I can't complain too much since he is only waking up once. I will say this though...as much as I enjoy nursing, it is so confusing to me.

We had an eventful week this week too. My dad has been able to come and help me out. Having a baby that eats so often and having a 22 month old is pretty hard. They both require a lot of attention and I am not able to give them both the attention they need all the time. That is where my Dad has been so helpful for me! He loves to be with the boys so it is great to have him here. Last night we had company as well. It was Great Grandma Lorna's birthday this week so we had Jeff's parents and sister here and we went out to eat.

Tyce also got his first pictures taken. My good friend Jenna came up last Sunday and took some pictures of Tyce and a few of both the boys. Poor buddy was not a huge fan of getting undressed and dressed over and over and sitting naked in a basket but we will see how they turn out.

Things are going great. Some days are better then others and some days you just want to pull your hair out but at the end of the day your family is always there for you and we couldn't ask for anything more!
