Some Visitors!

We had some visitors today. Great-Grandma Johny and Grandpa Roger came to visit us. Great-Grandma wanted to see the new place so my dad brought her up for the afternoon. They went to see Jeff at work then came on over. We spent the day talking and playing with Jase and we took a tour of Grinnell, IA! Obviously it was a small tour!
Jase was excited to see them. He loves visitors! Ady does too.
When they left we went outside for maybe 20 minutes the most. It is just too hot to be out there. For someone 16 months old and me being a bit pregnant, 20 minutes was long enough. Poor buddy didn't want to come in. He found something else he liked to do inside though. He likes to put Ady on her chain and walk her around. The girl is not the biggest fan, but he tries so hard to get her up and walking around with him. It is the cutest thing ever!

Poor buddy just wants to play. He just feels she needs exercise :)

Yesterday Jase enjoyed chasing Ady on the deck with water. He was just trying to be nice and cool her off.




Poor girl had to hide.

We also got a nice surprise from the UPS man. Aunt Erin sent Jase a nice package of not one, not two, not three, but four pairs of shoes. Yes...four pairs. They are wonderful. She writes "Jase you will always have fabulous shoes." Thanks Aunt Erin!
Thursday we are headed to Lake Okoboji to see Grandpa and Grandma Bates. It is also Aunt Jessica's Birthday on Friday so we will be celebrating that too!!
